Teaching is really communing and loving. It is not about words but Being(s) together. When Consciousness does strike - it will be sudden...but your mind may take it's time to realise what has happened.

It will be sudden

Light Entering the Darkness

[Questioner] Oshana you said that there is more chance of enlightenment if someone was in the energy field of the teacher. This contradicts all that you have said.

[Oshana] Well spotted, Ray, there have been some improvements though they do not contradict everything. My statement comes from recent experiences though I have for sometime been saying that the only thing I'd advise anyone who wants Liberation to do is meet me. So that amounts to the same thing. I'm just 'fleshing' (so to speak) it out.

[Questioner] This suggests that there is a subtle body mechanismnot necessarily responsible for, but accompanying and promoting, enlightenment.

[Oshana] Yes. I want to make clear that this energy does not work on the Core of Your Being i.e. Consciousness, nor as has always been my position, does it come from Consciousness direct. This energetic transmission is from the subtle and physical body. The transmission creates a resonance in the body of the receiver who then can loosen up, relax, release and give up their fixation with being a concrete, discrete, fictitious identity.

There is also, in a Dialogue Transmission, a component part in which Consciousness speaks to consciousness, that in a sense happens all the time, it's just that Man in his sleep-like state is not aware of it. When the Mind relaxes it's grip on the conceptual Identity then it can open up the Input of Consciousness which is experienced as Light Entering the Darkness.

[Questioner] The proof that non-dual teachers seem to have that enlightenment cannot be attained through practice is obviously something which they feel as a certain knowledge. But also realise that their certain knowledge also includes the fact that everybody has always understood. So why are they teaching anything?

[Oshana] Teaching is really communing and loving. It is not about words but Being(s) together.

[Questioner] It seems to me that if someone is going to call themselves a teacher, then they are already a bit of a joker, and should admit this and get right down in the midst of the nonsense. That way the truth can be sprung on the students like a trap when they are not looking, when they are in the middle of their visualisation or whatever!

[Oshana] Well, Consciousness that doesn't know it's own Self, it's own father and mother is a bit of a joke from this side of the fence. It's a bit like a child who dreams that it is lost and takes several minutes upon waking to realise that its parents are right beside it.

When Consciousness does strike - it will be sudden. It always sudden but your mind may take it's time to realise what has happened.
