No one ever seems to make it. A good metaphor for seeking enlightenment...wanting to become and never making it! Meanwhile, BEING IS NOW! An everpresent aliveness and wholeness which can never be achieved, only recognized in this one Eternal MOMENT.

An everpresent aliveness

Enlightenment in the blink of an eye

Can you tell me why I do not see any posts on your list except ones that you have posted? I receive emails from you only and when I come to your list there are only your postings there. I was interested in the posting you are responding to this morning titled, "The Effortlessness of Being". Having spent a few years following Andrew I was curious as to who you were responding to and if you quoted the whole message in your response. There is so much "becoming" in Andrew's teaching and a need for future. No one ever seems to "make it". Of course that is a good metaphor for seeking enlightenment...wanting to become and never making it! Meanwhile, BEING IS NOW! An everpresent aliveness and wholeness which can never be achieved, only recognized in this one Eternal MOMENT.Much love,

I cannot reveal the identity of the emailer without their permission I can only to say that you have correctly deduced that they are/have been a student of Andrew Cohen.

Further, while it may be fun to 'become' things on the way to Enlightenment, my sole purpose is to get you as soon as possible. Some people may like to be fool around, (like a child who suddenly 'refuses' to get dressed when it is time to go out) and that's OK. But I consider that pose-ing by the pool rather than swimming the English Channel. Nothing wrong with that either - one may feel that one has to do a few acclimatisation exercises before jumping in and making the Final Journey.

I just don't have time for such 'swimming on land' exercises when I know that I can take people to IT in the blink of an eye. I'm a bit impatient internally even if I am gentle on the outside.

You're absolutely right Being is Now - and Only Now.

PS So what'll you have?
