You don't need sex you need bliss!

Here Oshana replies to a question about seeking Enlightenment and wanting a partner. Of course the provocatively worded title "You don't need sex you need bliss!" is a slight over-exaggeration. But then Oshana is British. Just imagine if he was American. Er.. well on second thoughts, don't. Indeed, don't imagine him as anything. The point is to get enlightened and that will happen when you drop all attachment to things. Well, it's not exactly like it sounds. Just enpty your mind..and you'll see what is meant by that

Note, the questioner's text was left out because it was quite personal and we didn't have time to ask for permission to print it.

Hi A...,

Actually, if the focus is not completely on attain Enlightenment then the other needs in your life become larger issues. But, Enlightenment cannot be seen as a substitute because then you are really chasing the same desires and erroneoulsy believing that "E" will satify everything.

If a baby cries for mummies milk then it's mummies milk that it needs - not "E". Certainly, you have needs as a human being. Having a partner can be one of them. But what does it mean to have a partner? Just as there is the erroneous belief that having "E" will fulfil every need there is the erroneous belief that having a partner will fulfil every need.

People incorrectly use their partners. They don't know what to do with their partner. Man and woman coming together is an alchemical act where new energies are created and brought into manifestation at this level. If it isn't handled correctly then the people involved are damaged. If you are to attract the right partner then you have to clear your energy pathways.

The rest comes the heading of Tantric and Taoist practice - not the sort in Cosmopolitan, Marie Claire, Vogues and maybe even Anna (Finnish woman's magazine). But I don't really want to start teaching Tantra and Taoism because it can get messy if people have not cleared their issues, and my priority is Enlightenment, and there will always be enough teaching to do. You need to come to a neutral point of bliss. From there you can easily achieve anything that you want without effort or and stress-free.

It is in the perspective that Enlightenment confers that you will have that blissful neutrality. From there the energy pathways will naturally clear. So this is the easiest and safest way.

When this happens then you will be able to really meet a partner and when that happens then it will better than ever.
