Oneness is like Porridge

[Dzogchen] Everything is seen as the same thing everywhere and The same? Not exactly. It's more like, everything is seen as What It Is, As It Is -- liberated or free from any interpretation, projection, narrative, etc made up by mind. Hence, equanimity. Not sameness per se, but it certainly has the "equalizing" wisdom effect. Notice, What Is manifests with an infinitely variety of qualities, much richness and multitudes. Hence everything is not "the same".

[Oshana] Well, it's not easy to describe but there is only one thing and no separation...that is my experience in words, anyway. I call it porridge It does have a "seamless" quality to It -- what was heretofore divided by relative mind into subject-object-action ... is now one, indivisible, nondual. For example, no seer, no seen, no act of seeing -- there's just "seeing".

Not even...seeing is visual...it involves effort...it takes energy to interpret

[Dzogchen] Oshana, please keep on with the clarification and precision in the verbal and written language communication -- it's an important aspect of the transmission. That clarity is essential.

Well, I may have written quickly but as you know I feel that the transmission happen inspite of the words, and that the words can never truly capture it. Anyway, we now have two different points of view and it'll be interesting to see if that morphs...there'll be an email soon by the Dolano student Ma Prem S.. on the issue of words
