Awakening is when there is no confusion
[Oshana] Namaste Ma Prem S.....!
Can't help it. It won't hurt me, will it? Or others?
[S....] Hurt is not the term I would use. "Bring into confusion" I would say. Misleading Satsang, talking about Truth rather than talking Truth itself can lead mind into great confusion. If you see no harm in that, then carry on!
[Oshana] That's a provocative statement. The statement to which you are responding was about my having no choice about being a teacher. Maybe one day I will.
I don't see people getting more confused. I see them reaching clarity. The teaching is not about words but directly experiencing what is true. Words are a small part of the total teaching experience.
Truth isn't spoken. It is experienced.
[S....] Dolano says she can wake anyone up, even the rickshaw driver. If it is the Will of Allah!
The thing that she does is not only wake people up, which takes no time at all, but helps to take mind out of confusion. Who Am I is already awake, is already enlightened. Beloved mind is in a confusion.
[Oshana] For me Awakening is when there is no confusion. It looks after itself. And then no teacher is necessary.
[S....] Beloved mind thinks it can BECOME enlightened. Satsang is about showing mind what is True. This takes some time, as mind can be so stubborn. If this is not done mind will come back and speak confusion. If it is done, mind can come back and speak Truth.
[Oshana] The mind can never understand Enlightenment (well, so far at least) but it accepts that it exists. It can never communicate what it is. It's all concepts.
[Oshana] Yes, I very much agree with you. I see this a real issue. Working the nightclub is a bit like performing in Covent Gdn and working a crowd. I hope, I trust, that something good will come of it. That people will get the energy of what is happening and that will allow the mind to stop and see...for just a few moments and maybe forever.
[S....] Energy of what is happening? Who Am I is not touched by any energy.
[Oshana] This about creating an opening for the mind to soften and see that "Who Am I" exists.
[S....] Separation is already there. No separation. No no-separation. Satsang is about knowing no separation and THEN seeing no no-separation in the Play of the Leela.
[Oshana] Yes, that is Satsang. And the opposite of Satsang is seeing separation which is the typical position of a seeker.
[S....] She was on acid. I was talking to her friends that she was at the club with and they told me exactly what they had taken.
[Oshana] Well done. She said she wasn't the time before.
[S....] I mean no problem, we all know that drugs helps bring us to our maturity- it brings us to the point where we really want to know what the hell is true. I just wondered if you had known.
[Oshana] It barely crossed my mind. I am not familiar with drugs. I do notice energy but don't classify it. I accept that in a NightClub, a proportion of my audience will have taken something and the challenge is working with them in that environment.
[S....] Well, I know that you won't take my emails as a personal attack because there is no-one.
[Oshana] Certainly. I enjoy them as do many others, and look forward to the day when you teach your own truth. However, as to if there is anyone here, and if they can perceive an attack, is another discussion
[S....] All the love eternal.
